Our vision at the Shemede Taiwo Humanitarian Foundation is to inspire the curiosity in the hearts of our children to learn about the world around them.
We want them to grow into responsible and patriotic adults that care about their community, their state, their country and the world.
What are our challenges?
Besides living and operating on water, there are many orphans and widows who are impoverished and destitute, without any other hope of attaining this goal, except through our Foundation.
That is why the Shemede Taiwo Humanitarian Foundation hopes to:
Provide education, shelter, improved healthcare and opportunities for the needy and underprivileged in Makoko community of Lagos and other rural communities in Nigeria.
Identity, plan and manage community base development projects aimed at promoting the quality of life and social economic welfare in Makoko community and other underdeveloped communities in Nigeria.
Improve and provide access to quality healthcare, education and support to orphanage homes, underprivileged and people living with disabilities.
Provide books, pens, uniforms, and other educational materials to underprivileged students.
Undertake activities aimed at helping school going children and bring affordable medical care to the underprivileged.
Create income generating activities for the communities by providing skills acquisition training to young people with potentials.
Raise funds and medical equipment from donors and other partner charity organizations to support clinics and hospitals.
Co-operate and initiate project with other stakeholders for the benefit of the rural community.
Provide support to widows and single mothers in the community
